Obituary of Ronald William HUGHES

January 16, 1937 – February 10, 2012 Ron Hughes, beloved husband of Janet Hughes, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012 at the age of 75 years. Ron was born in Brantford, ON and residing in Calgary, AB for the last forty-five years. As a successful businessman in the automotive industry, Ron was held in the highest regard by his peers. Ron provided leadership and guidance to his family and beyond. His generosity was matched only by his wonderful smile. Ron’s life has been full; he savoured much, good friends, good times, and a loved one’s touch. Besides his loving wife Janet, Ron is survived by his sons, Aaron Hughes, Ted Burke, and daughter Tracy Hotchkiss, as well as his brothers, Doug and Bill Hughes and sisters, Wilva Trevena and Diane Scenna. Ron was predeceased by his father and mother Bill and Birdie Hughes of Brantford, ON.
