I was a nurse on Unit 47 at the Foothills hospital and Bryan was one of my favourite patients as he was always sweet and easy going and made me laugh. I’ll always remember him with fondness as he made my job enjoyable.

I knew Bryan for most of my working career both on the construction of the Calgary airport terminal in the mid 70’s through to his work with Parks Canada from the 80’s through to his retirement. I considered him more a friend than a colleague and will miss his humility, his friendly disposition and of course, his wit and humour. Just learned of Brian’s passing from common friend and co-worker Stu. So sorry to hear about this. I had known Bryan for many years at Parks Canada (I worked in Ottawa) and greatly enjoyed his company and cooperation in many projects and the kind of work we were both involved in.
