Obituary of Lilian Rose ROBSON

January 4, 1934 – February 5, 2012 After 78 years of Living, God has taken her home. Lilian was raised with her three sisters in Essex England, where she later met and Married (1955) George Robson. Together they lead an active army life, and traveled abroad with the RAF. During their travels they were blessed with their two children. Their Eldest daughter, Paula, was born to Catterick, England, and the younger, Carol, to Singapore, Malaya. In 1966 George and Lilian, with their two young children, immigrated to Canada, and made Calgary their home. They worked very hard at building their family business “Bandbox Dog Salon”. Lily loved to travel; destinations included BC, Hawaii, Alaska, Eastern Canadian Provinces, India and Egypt. Lilian shared many hours volunteering at the Bethany Care Centre. She liked her daily Walks to feed the birds, Aqua size, and was very artistic with her paper tole. Blessed with five Grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Lily held them closest to her, and took great pride in each individually. A Celebration of Lilian’s life will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 10:30 a.m. at McInnis & Holloway Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB).
