Although Dave and I had not know Andrew that long; just over a year. We had the pleasure of enjoying his acreage home and becoming friends in that time. We have many great memories of Andrew including his friends and family. He will be missed. Our deepest condolences to all. Andrew may you rest in peace..

From- Andrew’s mom, I want to thank you all, from my heart, for all of your messages of sympathy, kind words, lovely comments and condolences. Some of you I don’t know, but all the messages are heart-warming, and I soak them up like a sponge. I am proud to be Andrew’s mom, and the mom of Roy and Neil. I share my sorrow with Jackie, her sisters, family, and mom Elaine.
Sylvia Hewitt.
Andrew Hewitt was my career and educational mentor. For five years has given me the best advice towards my career and education training. He always said, “Work hard, but do not forget to have fun.” He deserves a gold medal for all the good he has done. I enjoyed the long talks over the phone with him and the time we spent this summer in Calgary. Those times will not be forgotten. I was really lucky to know him. Rachelle and I will really miss Andrew. Condolences to Family and Friends.
John, Mary, Roy, Neil, Jackie, Sylvia and famlies. We can not imagine the pain and greif that you are going through right now, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Andrew was truly agreat inspiration on people, as you can see his education lead him to the West to work and look at how many of his friend’s trusted his wisdom and followed him out there to begin their careers and call it their home. Andrew will be sadly missed by all who knew him, but never forgoten.(roy, alisha was at our place the other night and told me thst she knew what happened, and she said to me. Papa, Andrew is in a better place now with all of the angels in heaven).Always in our thoughts

Andrew was like a son to Roger & I and like a brother to our son Gary ever since we met him 4-1/2 years ago. He loved to come out to our farm and just get busy doing whatever needed to be done. He had a heart to match his large size. He will be greatly missed in our family. Love to all his family and friends.

Andrew worked with Graham right after graduating. We all loved Andrew, he was more than just a great asset to this company… he was likable, personable, worked hard, and was a great example of young people coming into the work force with a great work ethic. We will miss him terribly, and send our deeptest sympathies to his family, finacee and friends. God Bless you Andrew!
My heart is with all of you as this difficult and unexpected journey begins.
Sincere condolences – Kevin
Funny, smart, hardworking, honest, respectful, cheerful, etc… these are but a few qualities that we have used to describe Andrew to others. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed a great deal by all of his family and friends.
I had the good fortune of recently working with Andrew. It was only a brief period, but long enough for him to make a lasting impression. Aside from being very good at his work, he was a warm, approachable young man who created a positive energy for all of those around him. My thoughts and sympathy go out to all of his family and friends. He will not be forgotten.
We have lost a truly amazing person,he will now bless Heaven with his presence! He will still always be with us in spirit, and forever embarked in our memories!! deepest sympathies with my family and Jacqueline’s family.
Our hearts go out to you in your time of sorrow, may your memories give you strength. We are so very sorry for your loss.
John, Sylvia & Family: Just wanted you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Although we can’t be there in person to express our condolences to you, we can be there in spirit and we certainly will be thinking of you on Saturday.
We haven’t seen Andrew for years remembering him only when he was a young boy attending Sunday School, with his brothers, at the Chapel. His picture was in the Packet today and he certainly had turned into a fine looking young man.
Alex mentioned that he had been talking with Roy about the possibility of using the Chapel for a Memorial Service and if that is something the family would like to do that would be okay. Please feel free to give us a call and we can go from there. May God grant you strength and peace to get through the days ahead.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hewitt family.
I’m deeply saddened to hear the news of Andrew’s passing. Andrew was a solid fellow with distinct character. We are about the same age and I was encouraged while following him on facebook and watching him succeed in work and life. Strength and comfort for each of you and your loved ones at this difficult time.
-Ben, cousin

Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.
Although we only knew Andrew for a few years, he left a lasting impression. He was one of the kindest most giving person we knew. He will be deeply missed. We offer our sincerest condolences to your family and to Jackie.
Your commitment to everything you did (work and play) was inspirational and brings a smile to my face. One of my favorite memories was when the power line went down over the Trans Canada. You handled things so well and professionally, ensuring no one got hurt. Your quote, “Ahh…we have a little problem here…” still makes me laugh. We will miss you buddy.
My sincere sympathy to your family and loved ones.
I was lucky enough to have the pleasure to go to college with Andrew.
Words can’t describe the shock that went through our group of friends as we remembered what a great time we all had.
Andrew, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family through this tragic time.
A life was taken too soon, but the memories will last for a lifetime.
Our most sincere condolences to the family. Andrew truly was a gift to all who had the privilege of calling him friend.
