Obituary of Judith Marie MORO-WINER
December 20, 1957 – February 4, 2012
Judith Moro-Winer, beloved wife of Gordon Winer of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the age of 54 years.
Born in Calgary on December 20, 1957, Judith was a rare native Calgarian who worked hard so she could play harder. Judith loved to travel, especially to Italy, the song “Truly, Madly, Deeply”, but most of all her family and friends. Judith loved anything and everything that was pink. She battled hard for a long time with her disease and Judith will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. But Judith is now in peace and free of pain for the first time in a very long time.
Besides her loving husband Gordon, Judith is also survived by her children, Jeffrey, Hilary, Alison, and Boo; her family in Italy and her many dear friends from around the world.
She will now be with her mother Mary-Anne; her father Mauro; her grandparents; and other relatives from Italy as well as her dear friends, Barb, Maggie and Tuffy.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
