Obituary of David KERR

June 20, 1934 – February 2, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful Husband, Brother, Dad, Grandpa, Uncle and friend, Dave Kerr. Dave passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Peter Lougheed Hospital surrounded by his family. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his beloved wife June, Sister Dora and dear friend Irene Taylor, his children Pat, Mike, Lynne and Jim and his precious grandchildren, Jaimie & Dani, Lindsey &Trevor, Niki & Andrew, and Steven, as well as his nieces, nephews and their families. Dave was pre-deceased by his son David and his sisters Gladys and Alice. His family would like to acknowledge and thank the wonderful staff of Unit 43 at the Peter Lougheed Hospital for their care and kindness, especially to Dave, but also to June and family. A family gathering and reception in Dave’s memory will be held at MCINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. (family tribute at 12:30 p.m.) and a scattering of ashes will follow at 2:45 p.m. at Queens Park Cemetery, 3219 4 Street N.W.
