We were so saddened to hear of the loss of your dear mom. What a wonderful lady. I had run into her at the bank just before Christmas and we had such a nice visit. Thinking of you all.
Hugs,

We were very saddened to hear of Rita’s death. We have lovely memories of her numerous visits to Scotland with Larry and our own trips to Calgary. Her cheerfulness and positive attitude to life were qualities to be admired. We will miss our annual Christmas letter from her and her pride in all the achievements of her children and grandchildren.
With sincere sympathy
Anne and David
We were very sorry to hear of Rita’s passing. Margaret Orr was kind enough to call us last night and let us know. Your mother was very kind to me when I was sick with Kidney stones at the Rockyview Hospital and also to us with help for Keith and Jane Goodman through their illnesses. I talked with Rita before we went south in Oct. and she was so happy in her new home and wished she done it earlier. We will miss her.

Dear Family of Rita and Larry Carey:
I was so saddened to hear of your mom’s passing and my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Your mother was a wonderful, strong woman who always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say to every one. I’m blessed to have known her through our PEGG Women’s Group and had many an enjoyable day playing Bridge with her in our afternoon Group as well as in her home at Bridge Luncheons. (Her Shrimp Bisque was one of my favorites.)
Unfortunately, due to a previous committment, I won’t be able to attend the Celebration of her Life.
May the precious memories you have of your loved one carry you through this very difficult time.
With deepest sympathy,
Dorene & Bob Veevers
Rita was a lovely person to have as a friend, and wil be sadly missed.
My late husband worked with Larry at Monenco and we enjoyed many social events with them both,- I got to know Rita better after retirement. I will be away when the memorial service takes place, but wanted to express my sadness at her passing.
Sincerely,
Rae Jones.

Marion has kept us aware of your Mom’s condition and we are so sorry to hear of her passing. She was a very special lady and I played many rounds of golf with her, she will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.
Sincerly Ray & Marrianne
I telephoned your mother just last week to tell her that there was a void without her at our ‘stretch class as she was a devotee to this form of exercise. I have known her through bridge games and also through golf at ‘Canyon Meadows’.
She was the epitome of a refined lady, always having a broad smile and such a gentle manner. When I asked her how she was doing in her new home, she replied that it was a good move and she had no need for extra space. Her voice was strong and she left me feeling that all was well with her; another example of her accepting what came her way. What a better world it would be if more of us could adopt her acceptance of challenges put before us.
So sorry to hear of your loss. I have often thought of you Miriam.
So sorry to hear of your loss, I often think of you Miriam

I was saddened to hear of your Mom passing, and so soon after your Father. I haven’t been in touch with any of you for so long but after your Father’s death, Rita took the time to send me a lovely letter. She brought me up to date on Larry’s last years and then went on to speak very highly of each of you. She even made me feel proud of you!! I was deeply touched that she took the time to reach out, and all in her time of loss.
I wish I could be there to help celebrate the life of both your parents as they truly were special people. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
