I am so sorry for your loss, Garth. Your mother’s warm heart and love of music brought pleasure to many, many people over the years, and left a lasting mark on the lives of a large circle of students, including mine. I will always remember her with deep affection and gratitude.

Fern become part of our family many years ago when she began teaching our children music. We celebrated Fern’s birthdays with her each year at the same restaurant – an event we always looked forward to. We will miss her, Garth.

She was kind and generous and she will always have a place in our hearts.

So much of my childhood was spent in the loving presence of Mrs. Neuls. She not only taught me the basics of piano playing, but the much more important quality of pouring my heart and soul into my music.
