Obituary of Mildred Jean BAPTISTE

September 4, 1955 – January 26, 2012 Mildred Baptist of Morley, AB, was called home by our Creator on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the age of 56 years. Mildred is survived by her children, Retillia Rabbit (Snyder), Myrna Hunter, Trina Rabbit, Sherman Rabbit, and adopted son Joseph Rabbit; fifteen grandchildren; a great-grandson. She is also survived by three brothers, Irvine Rabbit (Linda), Harvey Rabbit (Delphine), Leo Poucette (Tracey) and adopted brother Norman Poucette (Mazie); six sisters, Clara Rollinmud, Connie Poucette, Debra Baptiste (Norman), Tilda Stephens (Audley), aunt Joan Hunter; uncle Jack Simeon; special nieces, Vanessa Poucette, Aldina Snow, Teshline Hunter, Stacey Aberdeen, Adele Rabbit and Sheila Rabbit; her godson Bee and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and relatives. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Geinrich Baptist; her parents Nelson and Flora Rabbit; her grandsons Torrance Rabbit and Walter Twoyoungmen; granddaughter Layla Kootenay; her brothers Charlie, Wilbert, Bobby, Casey and Danny Rabbit; her niece Fleurette Rabbit and nephews Herman Rabbit, Anthony Rabbit and Willy Rabbit. Funeral Services will be held at Morley United Church (Morley, AB) on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Services to follow at Bigstoney Cemetery (Morley, AB).
