Obituary of Muriel Alice SLOCOMBE

1928 – 2012 Muriel Slocombe beloved wife of Bill Slocombe, passed away on January 25, 2012 at the age of 83 years. Muriel was born in Alberta, and started working at Swifts meats to help supply the troops in WWI. She married Bill in 1950 and raised her family. Muriel enjoyed curling, golf and was a member of The Earl Grey Golf Club. Muriel is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Doug and Sonia Slocombe, her daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Darrell Slaght, her grandchildren Michelle, Leesa, Taylor, Jana and her great-grand children Sam, Mackenzie, Jacob and Sophia. Muriel was predeceased by her husband Bill, her parents, her sister Vella and her brother Robert. Thank you to the compassionate and caring staff Brentwood Care Centre.
