Condolences
Dear Eric and Ryan,
Our condolences to both of you in this, probably the most difficult, time of your lives. I felt so much richer for knowing Dawn and will miss her terribly too. Her kind, loving, generous demeanor will forever be my favorite memory of Dawn. The love she and I shared for greyhounds and other dogs gave me a sense of “kindred spirit” with her. Our lives were changed for the better for knowing her and in her death, she will be missed but she would want us to pick up and carry on and do that which we do best with the rest of our lives.
Richard and I are thinking of you and Ryan and want you to know we are here for you if there is ever anything we can do for you.
Twila and Richard

So very sorry for your huge loss. Dawn will be dearly missed by all of us. I still have such fond memories of us all playing in the pool in Cason Quarters as children. It is a pitty we are such a long way away but you are all on our thoughts at this difficult time.

Dearest Eric, Etienne & Family
Our deepest condolences at this time when words fail to describe the loss of this truly
beautiful person. Dawn will always be remembered as the most special lady we ever knew.
Our visits together, brief as they were, here in South Africa, we’ll treasure forever.
Dawn is a shining example to our girls, Melissa and Jenna who warmed to her kindness,
true loving, sincere spirit, ability to laugh, smile and love everyone unconditionally.
A humility and sense of calm beyond description. We are honored to have known her
and say that we had a friend in a million.
Eric you are a friend for life, and be it that we are thousands of miles apart,
we’re here for you & Etienne at any time – and unconditionally.
We pray for your inner strength and support during this time, and are deeply sorry
we cant be there with you – but our hearts are heavy as our thoughts are with you today
and every day, as it has been for all this time.
God bless and keep you all safe and comforted.
All our love and hugs,
Basil, Yvonne, Melissa and Jenna
from across the miles in South Africa

We thank the Lord for the time Dawn was with us.Being her brother/sister-in-law, we will feel her loss forever. She was a kind and giving person and the world will be a lesser place without her. We would like to thank Eric and; Etienne for not only caring for Dawn throughout her long illness but also through out their lives together. We grieve with both of you during this sad time but one day we will all be together with her again.
