Obituary of Klare THOMSON

August 26, 1938 – January 22, 2012 Klare Thomson, beloved wife of Bill Thomson of Airdrie, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2012 with her family by her side at the age of 73 years old. Klare was born in Soest, West Germany on August 26, 1938. She came to Canada with her husband Bill after they married on December 29, 1956. Klare and Bill recently celebrated their fifty-fifth wedding anniversary. Klare is survived by her husband Bill; her children, Susan (Darrell) Frazer, Nancy (Dennis) Harris, Bob (Samantha) Thomson, Cindy (Clark) Nixdorff, and Wendy (Andre) Aubut; her seventeen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her four sisters-in-law, Margaret, Bev, Betty, and June; numerous nieces and nephews; and her close neighborhood friends. She was predeceased by her infant son Carl; her brothers Jurgen and Hans; and her brothers- in- law, Alan and Bob; sister-in-law Bernice; and nephew Andrew as well as her parents. A Memorial Service will be held at Airdrie United Church (216 – 1 Avenue NE), on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
