Condolences
Jocelynn and family,
Jesse and I are so very sorry for your loss. You and your family will remain in our hearts and in our prayers through this most difficult time.
•May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead.
Losing someone is never easy especially at such a young age. I am really sorry for your loss. At times like these you have to lean on your faith and try to accept that God has a bigger purpose for us. May all the love that surrounds you give you strength.
I am so very sorry for the loss of your son. You are in my thoughts and prayers everyday. This saying has brought comfort to our family in times of loss. “When a loved one dies, remember that a part of you goes with them, where they go, you go also, so they will never be alone”. I hope it comforts you.

I can think of no greater loss for family and community than the death of a young person. In all death we lose what that person has been to us, but with the young we lose what they could have been as well. My sincerest condolences on your loss.
My son Tom, who homeschooled through junior high, reconnected with Kenn at Bishop O’Byrne High School sharing three classes with him this past semester (Religion, Welding, and Law). He came home talking of Kenn and sharing how much he was enjoying Kenn’s enthusiasm and happiness. They spent a lot of time together in Welding just a few weeks back, and often enjoyed lunch at school and out together. Tom was shocked and saddened to hear that Kenn has passed on. I want everyone to know that my son’s life was enriched by Kenn’s company these past few months, and that Kenn’s presence made Tom’s return to a brick and mortar school smoother and kinder. Thank-you Kenn, you will be missed.
Donna (Thomas Trimble’s Mom)

Dear Lynn and family.
Words cannot express the sadness I feel for you on the loss of your grandson, son and brother. Lynn, I remember the proud and happy way in which you spoke of your family and in particular your grandchildren. Our talks often centered around family and it was evident that you had a deep love and a special connection with each grandchild.
My prayers and caring thoughts are with you.
Moyra
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. He will be missed at Bishop O’Byrne.
Henry and Lynn –
I wish you and your family peace and healing. Love is everlasting……
Kenn was such a kindhearted guy. I will never forget the great memories I had with him whenever he came over to hang out with Andrew. We would both team up against my brothers in Call of Duty, and of course, we would always win because of him.
I’m going to miss it when Kenn would purposly try to bother me and constantly poke me, so I would always shove him off the edge of the couch where he would always be sitting.
One memory in particular that I will always hold onto is when Andrew was having some friends over to celebrate his birthday last year and Kenn was playing expert on the drums in Gutair Hero. Tyler and I decided to take some big lumps of ice out of the freezer and dump it down his back just to see how he would react. Well, Kenn of course was too caught up in his game and didn’t care. In fact, he would constantly say he wanted more ice.
We need to hold onto these memories and remember that God has a plan for everyone and Kenn has now been welcomed by him in heaven. He’s in a better place now and is finally at peace.
Rest in peace my friend,
Blair

Lynne,
I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your beautiful son Kenn. I am now teaching kindergarten at Our Lady of Peace. As it happens, my son Daniel was in Kenn’s Math Class. He was very saddened to hear about Kenn also. I always remember from St. Peter days what a wonderful Mom you were to Jocylynne and Ken. I am sure you are an
amazing Grandma too, so if it gives you any comfort at all, I’m sure Kenn knew he was loved.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this terrible time as there is never a satisfactory answer to why these things happen to such good families.
Marsha

Kenn was always a person I could talk to. A friend I could confied in. His death brings me much sadness, as he was such a good person, who could bring a smile to any body. It pains me to lose a friend, but it makes me happy to know he is in a better place. My prayers are with you, Noah.
Our deepest sympathies and condolences to the Vryenhoek family. Words cannot begin to convey the devastating sadness in our hearts with his tragic passing. We loved Kenn and always considered him to be a part of our family. He was a very talented guitar player and him and Brett spent countless hours gaming together. One of his fondest memories he had with Brett was when I took him, Adrian and Brett to the Ozzy concert. We will all miss him dearly.
My deepest sympathies go out to the Vryenhoek family. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know Kenn. He was a great kid with a big heart.
Ken was a blessing in my life from the first day he came to Our Lady of Peace. I will always remember how he opened his heart to me; his ability to recognize when someone truly accepted him; his “quirky” sense of humour; how when he hugged you, it was a real hug; how he wasn’t afraid to show his vulnerability; how he was always willing to do any job no matter how mundane it might have been to him (especially when I was asking him to do something with my computer!); how he would trust me enough to move outside his comfort zone in drama; how his smile could melt your heart; how he was able to laugh heartily at “silly mistakes”. Yes, his life was so short, but it was a big life, and he made a difference. May Jesus welcome hime home and cradle Ken in his arms. With blessings and prayers,
Anna Wade

I can not possibly even begin to express how sorry I am for your loss. To recount all of Kenneth’s gifts simply pails in comparison to this tragedy! I am filled with sadness, the thought of Kenneth’s talents, and the energy he put into his passions to come to such an abrupt end. Kenneth was and always will be one of my special students, I thought of him often and will remember him always.
