Obituary of James Burgess PHILP

April 26, 1941 – January 22, 2012 It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the quiet passing of our beloved husband and father, Jim on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at the age of 70 years. Jim served his country for six years and after leaving the army worked in both the chemical industry and the Corps of Commissionaires. Jim’s favourite pastimes were reading and playing computer solitaire. Jim is survived by his loving and devoted wife of forty-nine years, Hilarie; two daughters Aletha (Robert) and Gemma; and brothers Lewis (Audrey) and Robert; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and three brothers.
