Obituary of Emma TAUBE
December 25, 1911 – January 19, 2012
Emma Taube (nee Lange) passed away peacefully, into God’s tender, caring arms at 8:35 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2012.
She was born December 25, 1911 in Kreskowka, Niedrzwica, Lublin, Poland. Emma came to Canada in 1930 at the age of 18 years and arrived in Calgary, making this her permanent home.
Mother is survived by her only son Ernest (Doreen); granddaughters, Trae and Faith; and great-granddaughter Morgan. She is also survived by her sister Hanni of Germany; and many nieces, nephews and cousins in Germany, Canada and the U.S.A.
Emma was predeceased by her husband Ernst in 1977.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. The family wishes to thank Dr. Monique Withers, the Sisters of Charity of Providence and all the nurses and caregivers of the Father Lacombe Care Centre, for the many kindnesses and dignity of care that they have given Mother during her fourteen month stay at the Residence.
