Dear lucy and family – please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss of Pat. Although many years have passed since we last visited, please now that our memories of you both are filled with love and respect. Pat was a joy to work with – his sense of humor mixed so well with his deep commitment to his job and family. Ah – you were so young and in love! We will always retain fond memories of our association in Dawson Creek. We are arranging to have a Mass said in Pat’s memory. We know you will be strong in the days to come because Pat has that kind of influence. From Kerry – Pat was one of the “Best” he ever worked with. God bless you all.

Our most sincere condolences and prayers to Lucy and the entire McKernan family. I worked in the RCMP with Pat for three years in Prince George. Because of our size we were always placed side by side during the Rememberance Day Parades. Not once could we get our step together. His laughter and smile will really be missed.
Lucy and Family, it was with heavy heart that I read of Pat’s passing. I knew Pat from Prince George Sub/Division when he was in charge of the Commercial Crime Section. He was a fun loving and gentle person. We had some interesting conversations not to mention projects. Pat was truly in a class of his own and well respected by all of us. It was an honour to have had our paths cross. We share your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
We both had the opportunity to work with Pat and admired and respected him greatly. We will miss him.
Our condolences to the family.
I was very sorry to hear about Pat’s passing. I worked with Pat at Imperial Oil and had many dealings with him in my role in Informaton Security and his in Corporate Security. I always respected Pat, especially his up-front and honest approach.
I appeciated the Celebration of Life for Pat and getting to hear about his family life and life in the RCMP.
My deepest sympathies to the family and I hope his memories provide much peace.
Hello Lucy, I just wanted to pass on my condolences.
I still chuckle at some of my experiences with Pat in Dawson Creek. I was a recruit and the first time I worked with Pat, it was the middle of winter, around 2:00 am we knocked on the back door of the pool and went in a swam laps.

Even though Pat and I have not seen each other in over 40 years, I feel great sadness in hearing of his death. As cousins, we lived thousands of miles apart and only met a few times, but he was always sincere and fun loving. May he rest in peace. My prayers are with the family.
