Obituary of John HUNTER

August 13, 1946 – January 13, 2012 John Hunter Sr. passed away at home on January 13, 2012 at the age of 65 years. John received his education in Morley and Calgary and was a well-known horseman. John is survived by his sisters, Helen Beaver (Charlie Sr.), Maryjane (Dallon) Beaver; brother Felix Sr. (Wanda) Hunter-Beaver; daughters, Joy and Jody; son Stacey Crawler; numerous grandchildren; and special nieces and nephews, Floyd (Michelle) Beaver, Tysa Beaver, Laverne Bearspaw (Fabian), Marci Hunter-Beaver (Emerald); precious grandchildren, Dorian Poucette, Drake and Daisy Hunter-Beaver, Blair Bearspaw; many nephews, nieces, cousins, grandchildren and friends. He is also survived by close extended families from the Morley, Bighorn Hobbema, Sunchild, Rockey Boy Montana, and Cochrane areas. He was predeceased by his parents Nat Hunter Sr. and Gertrude Beaver 1969; brothers, Nat Jr., Gordon, Leslie, Aurther, and George; nephews, Harold Beaver, Charlie Jr. Beaver. Wake Services will be held at the residence of Felix Sr. (Wanda) Hunter-Beaver (Morley, AB) on Tuesday January 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Morley United Church (Morley, AB) on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Bearspaw Cemetery (Morley, AB).
