Obituary of Douglas Doug HAGEN

April 21, 1924 – January 13, 2012 Douglas Clifford Hagen of Calgary, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012 at the age of 87 years. Doug was born and grew up in the Wynyard area of Saskatchewan. He worked in the construction industry in Calgary for over fifty years. In his younger years he coached community hockey and enjoyed hunting and camping with his family and friends. Doug was a lifetime member of Pioneer Acres and he drove his horses in many local area parades including the Calgary Stampede parade. Doug is survived by his wife Ada; his children, John (Louann), Clifford, Ann (Rick) and Christine. He is also survived by his two grandchildren Darryl and Ian, his brother Lloyd and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents John and Ruby; sister Phyllis; and brothers Harold, Leonard and Eugene. There will be no formal funeral service, a family gathering will be held at a later date.
