Condolences
Hermen,
It is with great sorrow to learn of the recent passing of Margaret. You and Margaret were the first friends we came into contact with when we arrived in Canada. In reflection of the countless years of joy and good times with you both, it makes us realize how lucky we were to meet the two of you as we arrived to our new place. I only wish that all immigrants could have had the same chance of receiving such loving friendship.
Margaret’s marvellous sense of humour and ever-present smile, along with your companionship and mentoring, made all the difference in us settling into the Canadian life and society. It is consoling to us that she had a good life by your side- you were always there for her. If I’ve ever known a great husband, a partner, and a mentor; it is you, Hermen.
I want to let you know how much your friendship meant to us and how truly grateful we will always be.
Your friends,
Joe and Helen Lukacs
To Mr. Leith and Family
I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Leith. She was such a lovely lady and I know you will all miss her very much.
Loveingly Remembered
Glenna
Please accept our condolences for your mother.
Our families go a long way back when the Rickards and the Mcleod Families spent time together. I remember my Grandmother and Mother would sit around the big dining room table at Mrs.Rickards with Auntie Gertie and sometimes Margaret enjoying the wonderful cooking and baking,
and also swapping recipes.
