Denis, I remember both your parents as being brilliant and accomplished people. Your mom bore our teenage mischief with great patience and wit. She was bold, brave, funny, intelligent, and warm. lucky you for having travelled so far with her!

We are so sorry to hear of Sally’s passing. We shared many happy times with Sally and David when they were living in Vancouver. They were very warm and friendly people who always opened their home and hearts to many. Our thoughts are with all of you today as you remember and celebrate your dear mother.

I met your Mum when she was Tony Sannna’s secretary in the late 1960’s. I was dating a man much like your father, David, so Sally was helpful with good advice! After I married Jim, the four of us shared amazing times together. Though Sally stubbornly refused to mess with the computer, she simply phoned regularly so we kept in close touch. Both your parents were wonderfully congenial, exceptional personalities — remembering them will always my heart. God bless all of you.
