Condolences
Dear Cyndy, Wendell, Tim, Maureen and Shawn,
I was so sorry to hear that your Dad passed away, and send my heartfelt sympathy to each of you. Growing up on Marsden Road was a wonderful experience that includes many fond memories of your whole family. I especially remember your Dad with that friendly twinkle in his eyes! As an adult,I enjoyed chatting with him on the sidewalk whenever I returned home to visit my parents; he seemed genuinely interested in my growing family, and proudly shared the news of what you were all up to. I know you’ll miss him dearly. May you find peace in happy memories and in the knowledge that he is now reunited with your mom.
On behalf of myself and the directors and volunteers at the Bomber Command Museum at Nsnton, I extend our deepest sympathy to Leo’s family and friends. One of the unsung RCAF heros of WWII to whom we owe the freedon we enjoy today! For many years he was a supporter of our aviation museum and a friend to all of us. He will be sadly missed. May God bless all in this time of sadness.
I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I was away when your Dad passed. If there is anything I can do please call. I will miss your Dad he was a wonderful man. Thinking of your family. Love Laurie [Dr. Nichol and Searles Office]
Cyndy and family;
Please know that Carson and I are thinking of you all at this sad time.

THE OTHER SIDE OF LIFE
by HIilary Robinson
The other side of life
Is what some call the end
But for man like the butterfly
There’s new life round the bend
The other side of life
Is a heavenly place
Where we’ll all walk some day
In a pure state of grace
With fondest love and condolences from
HILARY & CHRIS ROBINSON
dear tim, sherry and breanne…..i am so sorry to hear about your loss….we are with you in spirit….anne and alan
Your Dad was one of a kind, he was always ready to support you Guys and Gals and alway had something humorous to add to any conversation. He was a great guy and a great Father , you can see it in his Children.
Dear Cyndy and family,
Our deepest sympathies on the loss of your Dad… It was so nice to meet him when you visited Nova Scotia together a while back. Thinking of you, you’re in our prayers.
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad’s passing. I know your thoughts will always keep your Dad close at heart. Dodie was a wonderful man and knowing him since we all grew up as close neighbors brings back some fond memories. I remember when we were young and we had the skating rink behind us at the park your Dad and mine and other devoted Dad’s would shovel the snow and flood the rink. Now that I’m older I think our parents did that not just out of love but also to keep us outside and out of trouble. I also think your Dad owned a crystal ball, as I married and had my two girls, Tracie and Kim he would always tease me telling me, “Joey (as he called me) the apple doesn’t fall from from the tree! Now I know what he meant, my girls are so much like me! Your Dad had a special smile and always gave that little hug when we ran into each other and took the time to ask how things were going. I truly feel your loss but one thing I know he truly loved and spoke highly of you all. You all did him proud.
With deepest sympathy my thoughts and prayers are with you, Cindy, Wendell, Tim, Maureen, Shawn and your families. Your Dad and my friend will be sadly missed.
Love Joanne and my Mom Julie Paul
Dear Cyndy, Wendell, Tim, Maureen and Shawn,
The Smith clan has lost it’s heart! Your Dad was our connection with the past and a voice of common sense in our present. We shall surely miss his conversation (esp. political commentaries),telephone checkups and sense of humor. So sorry we can’t be there to celebrate his life but know he will live long in our memories and prayers.
Love Joe and Kay Kay
