Condolences
Linda – I just found out tonight that Dana had passed away. You had finally found your true love and you must be devastated. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Linda, we were very shocked to hear of Dana’s passing from the Neudorf Colony. Our heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family. We truly enjoyed Dana’s presence-special memories of cherry picking and car pooling. You are in our hearts and prayers.
What a terrible loss. Dana touched so many of us in so many wonderful ways. He was a kind and gentle man with such a great zest for life. You made him so happy, Linda. Thank God you found each other! We will always miss his friendship, his quick wit and wonderful sense of humour, but we also feel so blessed to have had him in our lives. It was indeed an honour and a pleasure to count Dana as a friend – and, “that’s exactly”!
Oh Linda– What a shock I got to hear of Dana’s passing when I read the Echo today. I am so sorry. Please know that we are thinking about you and the kids and grand kids and hope that the amazing memories of times together will get you through this most difficult time.
Heartfelt sympathy…
Margaret Walter and family

We knew Dana through the military’s university training program. He was someone you could count on. When our mutual friend Art Vandale passed away in 2005 Dana was very supportive. Lynn died in September 2011. From us and on behalf of the Vandale daughters, January and Mardi, we send our deepest sympathies to all Dana’s family.
He was a very good man.

It was a terrible shock to learn of Dana’s passing. He was my ‘neighbor’ at Royal Roads, and from then on I only saw him laughing, concerned, interested in everyone around him. How I wish his life could have been longer, so that the world could have been enhanced by his generous personality. My daughters, Kirsten and Tiffany, and I extend our deepest sympathy at your loss.

To the Moore family,
I was sorry to hear of Dana’s sudden passing and can only imagine the shock and anguish you must all be feeling. He was someone who truly loved the great outdoors, so I trust you can find some small measure of comfort knowing that he was doing something that he enjoyed prior to his passing. Also, I hope you will find comfort in all of your fond memories of him and the legacy of his commitment to both his professional and personal pursuits. I had the pleasure of working with Dana for a brief period at SNC-Lavalin T&D and really enjoyed getting to know him as a manager and as a person. He was someone who cared about his staff and wanted to do right by them. He also cared about his family and he often shared stories about the trials, tribulations and triumphs of berry farming, and the great experiences he had over the years with the Special Olympics. He was definitely one of my favourite managers/people to deal with and he will be deeply missed. My heartfelt and sincere condolences are extended to you all at this difficult time.
In sympathy,
