Obituary of James H. Jim GRIFFITH

July 18, 1926 – December 12, 2011 Jim was born in Calgary on July 18, 1926 at the Calgary General Hospital. He passed away peacefully on December 12, 2011 at the age of 85 years. Jim was a long time resident and farmer of Priddis, Alberta. He was also a long standing member of St. James Anglican Church and lifetime member of the Priddis Community Association. Jim was also a director and life time member of Priddis and Millarville Fair. He is survived by his daughter Bev (John) Joyce and son, Rod (Heidi) Griffith; grandchildren; Megan, Kandace, Jordan and Mckenzie. He is also survived by his cousin David (Ev) of Victoria, B.C. He was predeceased by his sister Edith Elizabeth (Betty) Middleton, wife Doris Griffith and wife Margaret Synott. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at Covenant Christian Reformed Church 50 Millrise Boulevard S.W. Calgary, AB.
