I was sad to see Harry’s picture in the Herald this morning. As manager of facility operations at the City I dealt with Harry on numerous occasions. I always enjoyed meeting him and looked forward to his many stories and recollections. He truly was a kind and gentle person and a pleasure to know. My sincere condolences to the family.
My deepest condolences to the Hogg family for their loss.
I had the priviledge of working with Harry for about 10 years prior to his retirement. As I was new to the City of Calgary when I started, Harry was always helpful with my questions regardles of whether they related to insurance or not. Always smiling and happy to pass along stories. Harry will be fondly remembered always and is missed.
Sincere Condolences to Harry’s Family.

My sincere condolences. I also worked with Harry for many years at the Law Department of the City of Calgary. Always enjoyed his company while sharing our memories of colonial experience gained in Africa. I was looking forward to see him on December 12 at Law Department’s Christmas party.
I worked with Harry for a number of years at the City of Calgary. He was an incredibly smart man with volumes of information in his head. He was a great mentor to me when I wanted to venture into Risk Management. He always had a smile and time to pass along his knowledge. He leaves behind a legacy at The City of Calgary in his crafted Risk Management program. He will be remembered by all those fortunate enough to know him.
Your father was a great gentleman. He was a valued city employee and a trusted colleague. His friendly disposition and quick smile will always be remembered. You could tell that he loved his family by the way he spoke about you. I had many a good laugh with Harry and we will very much misas him at our yearly christmas celebrations at fort Calgary. To all of you may I say that we send our sincere condolences. May you find peace and comfort knowing that Harry’s life was one well lived.
