Obituary of Henry Bolam Harry HOGG

March 3, 1937 – December 6, 2011 It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Henry “Harry” Hogg, devoted Father, Husband, and Grandfather. Harry was born March 3, 1937 in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Scotland and passed away peacefully in Calgary on Tuesday, December 6, 2011. A traveler at heart, Harry lived in England and in many African countries spanning twenty years before moving to Canada in 1980. Professionally, Harry is well known for his forty year career in the insurance industry in which he held roles as a broker, underwriter and most recently, retiring as the City of Calgary Risk Manager, a position he held for almost twenty years. A kind and gentle person, Harry was devoted to his family and made many personal sacrifices over the years to ensure that his children had the best life possible. Harry is survived by his two sons, Craig Hogg and Neil Hogg (Christy Mugleston) as well as two grand daughters Kaitlyn Hogg and Sarah Hogg, all of Calgary. He was predeceased by his loving wife Marlene Hogg in 2003. Harry was an inspiration on how to live life and he will be forever missed.
