Obituary of Teresa LOBELLO

August 16, 1921 – November 18, 2011 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Teresa passed away peacefully at the Santuari Hospice surrounded by family at the age of 90 years. Teresa was born in Albi, Catanzaro, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1958 with her husband and four children. Teresa had a great love of nature and spent countless seasons gardening. Most of all she loved preparing meals for her large family. Spending time with her eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren was something she truly enjoyed. Teresa is survived by her three sons, Nick (Connie), Arthur (Teresa), and Frank (Karen); and her daughter Anna. Teresa was predeceased by her husband of forty-six years Gaetano Lobello; her brother Arturo (Maria) Rosi; and her sister Rosa (Alfredo) Parrotta. She will forever be loved and missed dearly by her family and the many that knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
