Nana….everytime I see a blue bird or a butterfly…I know you are near.

Dear Marion, Dick, Paula and Laura,

Trying to reach you on the Internet, we found the sad news of your mother`s passing. We are extremely sorry but were privileged to have known her and you as our wonderful neighbours.

We are certain, you shall always remember her finesse, kindness and sweetness, not to mention her trifle and treats.

Dear Mom, We were so fortunate to have you in our lives for such a long time. You loved life and you could light up the room with your beautiful smile. You were a good friend and were there for them in good times and bad. You nursed some of them when they were ill and with love and skill. Your family came first and you believed in doing what you could for them while you were on this earth rather than when you were gone. You would have given everything you owned if we asked. Thank you, Mom, for the good times. We know that Heaven is welcoming you with open arms. LUCKY HEAVEN!

Though we try to prepare, we are never prepared enough, but there is a compassionate God in heaven who sees, who cares, who comforts .May you feel God’s presence as you grieve the loss of your wife.

Nana was the most amazing lady I have ever met. She loved her family and friends, and was so much fun to be around. Nana was always there for comfort, support and love. Her devotion and kindness is what drew people to her all her life. I am so very blessed to have had her in my life, and I will miss her always.

You are free now Nana, like a beautiful butterfly. I know you are now dancing in Heaven with your loved ones. I love you.

Nana was not only our Nana, but everyone’s Nana. She was loved and cherished by all who knew her. Nana was thoughtful, kind and loving. She was always the perfect hostess and loved having her home full of laughter and love.

I am the luckiest person to of had her as my Nana. I miss our visits at the hospital and the hospice. I miss you dearly. I know that in Heaven you are surrounded by all the loved ones you have missed for so long. I also know that you are free of the horrible disease and enjoying a Bailey’s on ice and a shnapps!
