Condolences
We were unable to attend the service as we were out of the country but extend our sympathies to Danny’s family. John and Danny curled together in the men’s league and we have all curled in bonspiels. He was fun to curl with and had a very positive attitude; he will be missed by many. John and Henrietta Dyck
We were so sorry to hear of Danny’s passing. We will always remember fondly of our chats with Danny at the hockey rink. He was a kind and gentle man. We will keep you all in our prayers.
We are very sorry to read Danny has passed, always enjoyed his chats and his interest in hockey. Welcoming his home to Nic for the “fun times” was always apreciated. A humble, generous man to the team and extremely respectful to everyone, we will remember and be grateul for knowing him. In memory, Trudy, Scott, Kris and Nic Hauser
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Stachiw family. We will always remember Danny for his warm, welcoming smile, his kind words, and his dedication to Cochrane Minor hockey and Inline hockey. Jordy still claims the best skate sharpening he ever had was from Danny in his garage. :)
Danny – you will be missed.
With sympathy,
The Holdaways

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.
Our prayers go out to Leslie and to Danny’s family. We knew Danny as a curling friend and were fortunate to know such a caring, humble and loving person. It is fitting that such a good person would establish a fund to help others. God bless.
We were surprised and saddened to get the news of Danny’s passing. Had no idea of his heart struggles. We curled against Danny for years and also knew him from Church Ranches. He always had a smile on his face. Our thoughts are with you all.
To the Stachiw Family: I would like to express my most sincere condolences on Danny’s passing. Although my acquaintance with him was brief, I found him to be an inspiring, dedicated, “fully involved” individual, despite the health issues with which he was dealing. His presence will greatly be missed.

Dear Family and Friends,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Danny! Although it has been some time (11 to 12 years ) since we last had the pleasure of Danny’s company while helping to design the house in Church Ranches, I never lost site of the wonderful and lasting impression that Danny always made! Danny was a very special client who always showed his appreciation for everything we were doing. I was particularly touched by his keen interest in making sure that the children’s rooms were well set up for their studies and things special to each child. Although I will be unable to attend the celebration of life,my thoughts will be with the family.
Sincerely,
Catherine Harradence
Our thoughts are with all Danny’s family and friends at this sad time. He always made a point of chatting with us when ever we ran into him, his kindness will always be remembered.
To the Stachiw family,
After having spent my early childhood growing up next to Sean, Aaron and Sami it saddens me deeply to hear of the passing of their father Danny. For the short time that I knew him he was always such a kind man and great neighbour. It is clear through his children who respect and look up to their father that he was someone very special. I am very sorry to hear of Danny’s passing and wish to pass on my condolences to all of his family. He will be greatly missed.
We met Danny when he first joined the investment industry. He was a kind, gentle, thoughtful man and will be greatly missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends.
