Condolences
It’s many years since Gail and I were in California enjoying the sun. I was very sorry to learn of her passing only today November 29. My sincere condolences to her family.
You didn’t have to meet your mom to feel like you knew her because she was ever present in your stories – Darryl you were a mommas boy and wore it proud – from the messages here and your stories it’s easy to see why.
Our love and sincerest condolences to you and Bruce.
Much, much love, T and J
It’s a rare moment in life when you meet that special someone who you connect with on so many levels. Gail was that special someone to us. With her motherly advice, you always felt listened to and cared for. We always loved hearing the adventures and visits she and her son and son-in-law would have with one another. They were not just family, but friends as well – a true gift. Our hearts and thoughts are with Lil D, Bruce and the rest of the family.
Hugs, Big D, Ian and Ollie xo
As an older cousin I was especially shocked and saddened to learn of Gail’s sudden death. I would like to pass on my best wishes to her family and friends. Also thank you for the interesting obituary.
We were lucky enough to work with Gail at Canadian Occidental many years ago. Gail was a dedicated professional and truly cared for her family and friends. Gail always did her best to look after us all and we greatly enjoyed the time we spent together. We will always admire Gail’s courage and persistence in life and we will never forget the many lessons she taught us.
Our sincere condolences to the family.
We were so shocked and saddened to get the news of Gail’s passing. It brings back many memories of our younger years. Our thoughts are with you all.
My sincere condolences to Gail’s family. I used to work at Perpetual Energy for six years and enjoyed Gail’s dry sense of humour immensly. She will be greatly missed by all.
Thank you for everything you did for me when I worked for you in the past. I am very appreciative of the things you taught me about my job and how to do it effectively and efficiently with grace and integrity.
I know you loved the work that you did and really enjoyed time with all the people you knew however you knew them – work-related or socially. Anyone would have been very lucky to have counted themselves as one of your friends.
I forward my sincerest condolences to your family-I know how much you love them.
May you be an angel watching over them now and forever.
My most sincere condolences to Gails family. I know of you all eventhough you have not met me.Gail was a true friend and to me a real inspiration. She amazed me.All she was able to accomplish for herself and her family. Due to our busy lives we did not keep in touch as much as we should have since she began doing much more of her volunteer efforts with PASC. CAPPA is still benefitting from her volunteer services our conference took huge leaps into professionalism under her guidance.
I am so glad we reconnected just 3 weeks ago at a PASC Lunch meeting. A chuckle over the big metropolis of New Norway that my husband Rick called home for a while. The memories will always be nothing but good.
My condolences to Gail’s family. I worked down the hall from Gail at Perpetual. She was always sweet to talk to, about her walks, yummy food and shopping, to name a few. I’ll remember her fondly and am thinking of you during this time.
I did not know Gail well, but the couple of times I met her when I was in Calgary with my dear pal Darryl, Gail would come out to cheer on our volleyball team. I recall talking with her about her career with the energy trust company specifically when the feds were canning them, but she obviously was such a solid smart professional , that she grew in her career. Her love and support of her family was always outstanding.. A lovely person will be missed tremendously.
