Condolences
Nana,
Rest in peace my dear Nana. You will always be in our hearts and memories. Since you’re passing, precious memories keep running through my head. Memories of:
-Christmas when you always spoiled me with Barbie’s, Cabbage Patch dolls, Pound Puppies and a Wrinkle Dog.
-How you came back from Hawaii with a smiling face.
-Goodtimes with Candy and Katie.
-Watching Dallas, and sleepovers.
– Having roast beef dinners with family. Yummy stinky canned peas, Yorkshire pudding and mashed potatoes.
-How you were so nice to people. You had many family, friends and neighbours who loved you.
-How you worked hard.
-You and Aunt Mary coming to Carstairs for visits.
-Having you as my neighbour and the good times we shared.
-Your advice and support in challenging times.
-Baking with you.
-Your grill cheese sandwich sandwiches with mayo, they are the best.
-Fond visits with you at the manor.
-Your courage in remaining positive while you were sick.
-Photo’s of you when I was young.
-When you took Dawn and I to BC.
-Russell and Dawn’s weddings.
-And many more…
Nana you were a wonderful women! You were such a great role model, one that all women should strive to be like. I was so lucky for the years I had with you. I know you are at peace.
Love you always,
Robin
To Jean’s wonderful family: She was a beacon of strength and loving kindness in all my encounters with her. I will sorely miss her. She went too soon, too soon.

I have many happy memories of a very dear lady, who treated us all like family. I will miss her beautiful smile!
Leslie, Tyler, Ashley and Jarad
Wishing all of you comfort in this time as you prepare to honor and celebrate Jean’s life…May you hear stories that you have never heard, remember times that make you smile and even laugh and take the love that Jean gave each of you and hold dear your memories of her.
With love Sue
So sorry to hear about Jean’s passing. I will cherish the years I worked at the Law Society with Jean, car pooling and the many many laughs and good times we shared both at work and outside of work. Jean was like a second mother to many of us and always had time to be our friend and confidante. It was obvious that Jean dearly loved her family and took great pride in each and every one.
To the family of Jean .
I am sorry for the loss of Jean to all family members.
I can recall in the early years seeing Jean and Katie (her dog) on the street. She enjoyed sitting out on her deck.
My daughter and I lived across the street from Jean and Erv — since 2000 and we often walked Katie (her dog) .
I enjoyed chats with Jean and she told us stories about her family.
We were sad went Jean broke her hip and the further complications that occurred.
Then Jean left the neighbourhood and her small home is no longer here.
However we have not forgotten the kindness and care she had shown us over the years.
She was a wonderful neighbour.
Regards,
Loretta McKenna
