Condolences
I am so sorry. I am one of Irene Dame’s daughters. Your mother was very dear to me. She was the only one that cared for my mom out of the whole family. She was the only one of the Laramee family that I got to know. I always wondered if your mom was still alive or not. I would like to get to know mom’s family. You have many many relatives on the west coast.

Arlene you came out to visit us one year and we gave you two dolls to keep. Do you remember this?

Hi Arlene, Kevin, Karen and Jacquie – I was so sorry to hear that your Mom had passed away. She was a good friend to my mom and she will be missed. I will always remember her smile and her warmth. My thoughts have been with you over this difficult time.
Dear Arlene, Kevin, Karen & Jacqueline
Your Mother was a wonderful person with a very kind heart. I very much enjoyed staying with her when I visited Calgary. We always had great conversations about many things and especially about the Laramee Family.
Leo has very fond memories of your Mother and how she looked after him when he was a little boy.
We send our love
Leo, Marguerite, Jacqueline & Christian
Dear Jack, Arlene, Kevin, Karen & Jacquie,
My first memory of Aunt Jean was in the 1960’s when we came through Calgary on our journey to Victoria. And going enmasse to the Stampede, I remember the love, exhuberance and the contagious enthusiasm. This seems to epitomize Jean’s attitude towards life. A light like Jean’s will be missed. Love to all the family, Wayne, Jessie & Saira

So many memories come to mind of our wonderful ‘downstairs’ neighbors on 18 St. S.W. Your Mom was such a great lady and so much a part of my early days. She will be missed. Love to all the family.
A beautiful tribute to your beautiful mom, I can hear your voices and feel your love. Your mom always treated me and made me feel like I was one of the family. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed…her memory lives in my heart.

Dear Kevin and Family,
We were very saddened to hear of the passing of your wonderful Mom. I will always have fond memories of her great personality, humour and above all, her genuine interest in others. She “adopted” the Canmore group and she always made everyone feel like part of the family. She was truly a beautiful person. We are thinking of you all, Susan, Matthew and Taylor
Condolences to Jack and Family from an old friend, Ethel Nunn
My heart goes out to all the Taylor clan during this difficult time. I will fondly remember Momma Jean’s laugh and sense of humor. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to visit her while I was in Calgary just a few weeks before she died. She built such a strong sense of family and even invested in her many Compassion kids lives. Her love and generosity live on in all of you Taylor kids and in her many years of sponsorship to her Compassion kids. She was so loved by you all and so blessed to have such a strong support system around her. We will all miss her greatly. With much love, Patty xxoo
Your Mom always made me feel like part of the family. She was an incredible person. We will plant a tree in her honor here in New Glasgow Nova Scotia. It will grow incredibly big and strong like your Mom! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
All our love,
Jo-Ann, Christopher, Jeffrey, Lyndsey and Lily Allen
Dear Arlene, Kevin, Karen and Jacquie,
I have such fond childhood memories of your Mom. She was kind, warm and always had a smile on her face. I remember how she looked after us when our brother was born and how her home was always such a fun place to be.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you,
Kim van Eeken-Dixon
