Condolences
I was so sad to hear of Stu’s passing and disappointed that I only heard after the funneral. Like everyone else, Stu knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face plus squeeze a free meal or drink from them. I am sad that I won’t see those skinny little legs on the golf course. Know alot of people are reflecting on the loss of such a great friend.
Dear Gloria and family,
We were so sorry to hear of Stu’s sudden passing. He was a delightfully friendly person. Jack and I really enjoyed visiting at dinner with you and Stu and Romelda at “Michelle’s Place” in Crossfield – only a few weeks ago. God’s last gift is the wonderful memories you all will have of your dear loved one. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
Sincerely,
Brother Jack and friend Dorothy

Gloria and Tania,
So sorry to hear about Stuart’s passing. It was great to see him, and hear his laugh, one last time at Bill’s party at the end of the summer.
Best wishes,

“ God has not promised skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways all our lives through;
God has not promised sun without the rain,
Joy without sorrow,
Peace without pain.
But God has promised
Strength for the day,
Rest for the labor,
Light for the way,
Grace for the trials,
Help from above,
Unfailing sympathy and love.”

Gloria, we are so sorry to hear of Stu’s passing, I can’t tell you how many smiles he put on my face, he was such a great guy and will be missed by many.
It was with profound sadness that I received the news of the passing of Stu. I too had the privilege of working with Stu at COP and his sense of humour and infectious smile very often made my day. His family meant the world to him and you are in my thoughts and prayers. Stu was one in a million!
Tania & Gemma,
You are in our hearts and prayers during this difficult time. Tania I did’t have the pleasure of meeting your dad but I know you had the perfect relationship with him and spoke very fondly of him. Have peace in knowing he will always be looking over you, Gemma and your mom and be forever in your hearts.
Our deepest condolances,
Susan & Jonathan Duxbury xoxo

I am so sorry to hear of Stu’s passing. It was great running into him and getting reaquainted at the Water Valley Golf Course as we had attended Western Canada High School together. Unfortunately I will not be available to attend the celebration of life as we are in Arizona for a couple of weeks.
Stu always put a smile on my face and everyone around every time we met. The world has lost someone whom loved laughter. I thank him for the many fun times in High School.

Tania and Gloria, I was very sad to hear Stu had passed. I always enjoyed our interactions and have fond memories of him and your family. Hugs to you both, and to Gemma too.
With my sympathy to the family,
I went to Western Canada with Stu, and ran into him in numerous places over the years, especially enjoyed saying hello to him at the Legion. He was always smiling and enjoying life.
Hi Gloria and Family:
I knew Stu while growing up in the Beltline area and was always pleased to meet him and talk about all sorts of common interests such as school at Connaught Junior High, sports, careers, common friends, etc.
Stu was always a gentleman and I appreciated knowing him. My sympathies and best wishes!!

Dear Gloria,
Sorry to hear of Stu’s passing. Our first meetings were around “his neighbourhood” when I went to visit my grandmother back in the forties. Then the good years at Western. Waggle meetings were always fun. Sympathy extended to all the family.

Best wishes to Gloria and your family during this difficult time. I had the privilege of working with Stu at COP. He always met me with a smile or a great story. I once named a pet fish after him. Stu is one of the good ones.
My deepest condolences Gloria to you and your family. I was fortunate to have worked with Stu for a number of years at COP. Stu always had a joke and was truly a good guy.
