Obituary of Joan Rebecca WALTON

August 1, 1929 – October 12, 2011 Joan Rebecca Walton passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the age of 82 years. Beloved daughter to Annie and Charlie; kid sister to Di and Peter; wife and partner in life to Bill; Mum and advisor to Mark, Stephen, Ruth and Heidi; proud grandma to Drew, Ron and Ben; passionate volunteer to church, hospital and Guiding; a loyal friend to share a laugh or a tear. She will be sorely missed by all whose life she touched. At Joan’s request a Requiem Mass and celebration of her life will be held at St. John The Evangelist Church (1423 – 8th Avenue S.E.) on Tuesday October 18, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
