Condolences
Dear Janice, Susan and Terri: I was very saddened to hear of the passing of your wonderful mother. It brought back a lot of memories for me and my brothers. I, too, remember your mother as a warm, kindly person with a great work ethic and caring for her family. I would also like to commend her for her loyalty. I will always be grateful to her for her friendship towards my parents, particularly my mother when her mind and memory were failing. Your mother would still come over to see Mom and take her out for lunch or a coffee, long after other people were understandably not bothering. Way to go, Ruth! I know it has been many years since I saw her or you people last, but it feels like yesterday. She was the best, and will be dearly missed. Regards and condolences to you all … Wally McMorland
Terri we are all so sorry to hear you lost your dear Mom. She was such a wonderful combination of intelligence and fun. I always enjoyed seeing her and am so glad I got to know her a bit. Thinking of you a lot and hoping you are ok. Take care.

Our hearts are with you all at this sad time. “Gramma Ruth” was such a special lady and always had the most beautiful smile! She always a had a hug for us, no matter how long it had been since seeing her… she will be remembered for all she was and more. Love to you all, Deb, Courtney and Jenelle
To Aunt Ruth’s family:
On behalf of my Dad and the rest of our family I wanted to let you know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you so much for telling Dad not to fly out right now. He is upset since your Mom’s passing was so close to my Mom’s and probably wouldn’t do well travelling. Hopefully, if he is able, he will come out for the memorial in the summer.
I will always remember the twinkle in your Mom’s eyes and how much we loved her even though we did not see her often over the years. She was so wonderful when I stayed with her and she will be sorely missed.
Love to you all
Jane, Uncle George, John, Jeff, Joan, Jennifer and all the spouses, kids and grandkids
We were neighbors of Ruth’s when she lived at the farm near Nanton. We were sorry to read of her passing. We have fond memories of her. She often mentioned her family and was very proud of them. Our thoughts are with you.
Sincerely
