Obituary of Thomas Deacon HOLMWOOD

March 26, 1941 – September 28, 2011 Tom Holmwood beloved husband of Lorraine of Calgary, passed away peacefully with his family at his side, on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the age of 70 years. Tom was born and raised in Ontario and attended Northland College (WI) on an athletic scholarship. Tom excelled in many areas of his life, including professionally at IBM, and in athletics specifically baseball, basketball and racquetball. Tom will be missed by Lorraine, his wife of forty-one years; son Tom (Joanne); daughter Paula (Daniel); three grandchildren, Vlady, Sergiy and Chloe; sister Jean (Doug); sister-in-law Shirley; as well as many other relatives. He was predeceased by his parents Tom and Marjorie, and by sister Bev.
