Obituary of Philip David JAMIESON

June 3, 1935 – September 21, 2011 Phil Jamieson, beloved husband of Doris Manning of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Phil was born and raised in Calgary. He had a long successful career in the real estate industry. Phil enjoyed football, hockey, hunting, gardening, military history, laughing and spending time with family and friends. Besides his loving wife of forty years, Phil is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Jamieson and Scot and Lana Jamieson; two grandchildren, Shanna and Christian; step-son Barry Manning; step-grandchildren, Justin and Chad. He is also survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Pat and Gerry Sherman and Diane Templeton as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Phil was predeceased by his parents, Mabel and David Airth Jamieson; his brother Mike Jamieson and step-daughter Brenda Manning. A Celebration of Phil’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
