Obituary of Grant Robert SKALK

December 20, 1995 – September 16, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Grant Robert Skalk beloved son, brother and friend, on Friday, September 16, 2011 at the age of 15 years. After his seven month battle, he is now at peace. Grant was such an outstanding man, words alone will never capture his essence, he was an amazing athlete, top student and excelled at everything he did. Most of all, once you knew Grant, you realised he was one of a kind – loyal, funny, smart, and he inspired everyone around him. His courage throughout his journey captured so many hearts and affected all who knew him. He will be dearly missed by his sister Ali; mother Melanie; father Jim; scores of family members; his friends and community. His everlasting spirit and memory will live on and the impact he made will be forever etched in our hearts. Never forgotten!
