Condolences
We were so sad to hear of Rick’s death. He has passed on way too soon. We remember Rick well from church and what a wonderful father he was. Such a kind man, a true gentleman. Our prayers are with you all, especially Leah and Peter who have lost a loving father.
We are sad to hear of Rick’s death and we pray for all his family. I had the privilege of working at Clarkson Gordon when Rick was there also, and Fred and I remember him as a very nice man, cheerful, hardworking, civil, respectful and highly respected. To his parents especially we extend our sympathy for the worst pain that I have seen my own parents experience twice. I take consolation that our seats in heaven are secured by our loved ones.
Peter, Leah and Sue – As with Angela and Cam, we have so many great memories of 26A St. and those young carefree days. Your Dad taught us many things that still stay with us today.
-It is OK not to be intimidated by cooking a meal on the front cover of Gormet Magazine.
-Always buy the best wine, it is so worth it.
-Hosting and cooking for friends is the best way to spend a Saturday night.
Although we lost touch after we moved, those years on 26A St. always have a special place in our hearts and memories and your Dad and Mom were so much a part of that.
We are so sorry to hear of his early passing.
The Meneghettis
Dear Schulli Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Rick was a good friend of my brother and helped me on my accounts for my one man consulting company in Calgary. I remember Rick as a very intelligent, kind, gentle man. He will be missed and remembered. I am sorry I can not attend the Funeral Services – but I will think of his spirit here in Mumbai, India.

Rick was a most kind, generous and loving man. He had such a big heart and his presence will be missed by my family. Although we knew him briefly, he touched our lives deeply. May he rest in peace.
Love,

Dear family & friends of Rick,
I was so truly sorry to hear the news about Rick. We went to high school together and, although we have not really kept in touch over the years, I remember him affectionately and with fond memories of his intelligence, good humour and kindness. He was a lovely man.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Janet Austin

We were so sorry to read in the Globe of Rick’s passing. Our memories of Rick are from hockey days when Fraser and Peter played on the same team. It was one of the best years in hockey because of Rick’s inclusive style and letting the kids just have fun. We also had the pleasure of working with Rick in business when he helped us with our company taxes. We found Rick to be one of the nicest people we had ever met in Calgary since our move here many years ago. We have always thought of him fondly and enjoyed the times we would spontaneously bump into him at a rugby game, or simply walking the dog. We wanted to convey to both Peter and Leah the great respect we had for their Dad. Our sincerest sympathies.

The news of Richard’s passing has shocked us. We will remember Rick as a kind and gentle soul. Richard gave Dustin the opportunity to article with him at the firm. He was always a wonderful, patient and compassionate person. He has touched so many lives. He will be sadly missed by those who knew him well.
There are no words to express the sadness that we feel with the passing of Richard, he was always thinking too much of everyone else and not enough of himself. To Leah, Peter, Susan, Mr & Mrs Schulli, David and Pauline, our deepest sympathy. Richard was loved and will be deeply missed.
Dear Peter and Leah,
I was so saddened to read in the Herald this morning of your father’s passing. As you know I taught him at Western and I was so honoured when your parents asked me to tutor the two of you. My thoughts are with you at this very sad time.

Peter, leah and Sue: We are shocked to hear the news. Cameron & I spent many nights together in our early marriages enjoying good food, wine and conversation on 26A street. Being only a few houses apart allowed for quick get togethers, christmas cookie exchanges and plans to meet at the Glencoe to work off all the calories. We are thinking of you at this terrible time, but we are confident God will comfort you. We are keeping you in our prayers. Angela and Cameron (Houston Tx.)
Rick was one of the most gentle, warm-hearted and giving men I have ever had the pleasure and honor to know. Rick always offered a kind word and was supportive of me and my journey in life. I send my condolences to the Schulli family and hope you understand how many people Rick affected in a positive way. We all love Rick and will miss him dearly.
I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your father, son & brother. I will always remember Rick as a caring, kind and compassionate man. He will be missed.

Dear Peter, Leah and Sue
I was greatly saddened and shocked to hear the news. My heart goes out to all of you in this difficult time. I have not been in Calgary for many years but I still remember fondly those many occasions where we lived only a few doors apart and shared memorable times which were filled with much laughter, great food and many hours of discussion on a myriad of topics. My thoughts are with you.
