Obituary of Richard Cameron SCHULLI

May 26, 1957–August 27, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, son and brother, Richard Cameron Schulli, who passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the age of 54 years. Rick was born in Vancouver, BC and moved to Calgary with his family in 1966. He graduated from Western Canada High School in 1974 and obtained his B.Comm. with distinction from the University of Alberta in 1978. He articled to become a Chartered Accountant and obtained his C.A.designation in 1981. Apart from a one year work exchange in Ottawa in 1984, Rick worked his entire career as a public practitioner in Calgary. As an active member of the community, Rick served in various capacities within his church and community association. He also served on the board of directors of the Ranchmen’s Club, the Canadian Arthritis Society and the advisory committee for the Calgary Science Centre. Rick loved to golf and was member of the Glencoe Golf and Country Club. He was also a member of the Glencoe Club where in his youth he was an accomplished squash player. Rick was an avid reader, loved to travel and will always be remembered for being an excellent cook. Rick is survived by his son Peter, daughter Leah, parents Dick and Raye Schulli, brother David (Pauline), great aunt Betty Barlow, uncle Charles Schulli of Whidbey Island, WA, aunt Louise Murray of Kelowna, BC, and his former wife Susan of Calgary, as well as numerous cousins in Canada and the United States. Funeral Services will be held at Christ Church Anglican (3602 8th Street S.W.) on Friday, September 2, 2011 at1:00 p.m. Forward condolencesthrough If friends so desire memorial tributes may be made to the Canadian Arthritis Society or to a charity of their choice.
