Condolences
My deepest condolences to everyone close to Merv, my grandfather as I was very close to him myself. I was born on the same day as him so whenever our birthday came around I was always very happy knowing I was sharing it with someone. Although this following September he won’t be here physically to celebrate with me and my family, we will always remember him and how much of an amazing person he was to everyone.
My condolences to the Graham family from myself and my father (Wes). Theresa and Christina, I remember many dinners with you and your mom and dad when we were in Norway and again in Nova Scotia. Your mom scared me when I was little, but your dad was always a safe haven to run to! I know that my dad enjoyed working with Merv and sharing both triumphs and tragedies in the oil industry. I remember both your parents fondly as part of my childhood.
My prayers to you at this time.
To the Graham Family: We are truly sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Please accept our condolences and may our prayers help comfort you during this time difficult time. May his soul rest in peace and take comfort in the wings of his loving wife and family.
Our sincere condolences to all of Merv’s Family. So sorry to hear of his passing. He was such a nice man, and very kind. My husband , Gordie worked for him moving oil rigs in the Eagle Plains area, in the arctic , in the early 60’s. May he rest in peace.
I met Merv in the summer of 1958 in Weyburn Saskatchewan. He was the tool push on Mobil’s Rig 1 and I was a greenhorn from Ontario. Merv took me under his wing and was always patient and understanding. In the future our paths would cross, and we became good friends. Our families shared many happy times together in Nova Scotia. Merv was always smiling, thoughtful, and true to his word. Ruth joins me in expressing our deepest sympathy to all of Cec’s and Merv’s loving family.
With deepest sympathy and love. Verla and David Graham.
Please note: Verla and David have made a $50 donation to Heart & Stroke.
To The Graham Family: Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. May God be with you and grant you peace.
God Bless
My deepest sympathy to the Graham family in the loss of Merve. He was a wonderful man. He was my boss for several years and my friend ever since. Even though only 7 years separated us, he treated me as a daughter with kindness and thoughtfulness. It was always evident that Cec and his children were #1 in Merve’s life and now he and Cec will be together again. God bless them both. Phyllis
Very sorry to hear Merv has gone. I have many fond memories of our association, Dot and I with Cec and Merv. We got together here in NS and in NL. We had a lot of fun and kidding on the golf courses. He faced many challenges in his career but he could remain very calm.
My sympathies to all the family.
Sad to hear of Merv’s passing. Truly a wonderful husband, father grandfather, great grandfather and always a gentleman. Always calm and happy to converse.
Our deepest sympathies to all the Graham family
You will be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all.

FROM MY FAMILY TO YOURS,OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES.
I KNOW MY DAD (GEORGE) AND MERV ENJOYED MANY HOURS
TALKING AND ENJOYING EACH OTHERS COMPANY.
Merv was a true gentleman who was loving and generous. We enjoyed family visits and shared many stories about time spent in Nova Scotia. He will be remembered for his great sense of humour and love of life. With deepest sympathy, my thoughts and prayers are with the Graham family.
So sorry to hear of Merv’s passing. We had really good chats these past few years. About old times and our dogs he surely did enjoy his little Sable. Oh how I loved going to the farm for my holidays with Aunt Lulu and Uncle Percy and family. The family was so special to my Dad. Thank you Theresa for your call I will be in touch. Fern
Merv had a way of engaging you in conversation that made you feel so interesting and important. I enjoyed talking with him about his travels with his lovely wife Cec. My condolences to the Graham family.
Sorry that Merv passed away, but I know he is in heaven with Cec and in Gods presence. A good man we Sexton family enjoyed being with. He and Cec took I and Frank to the dinosaur museum that was one of the highlights of our trip to Calgary.
