We knew Janet as an amazing person, a brave and beautiful soul, and a lovely and caring woman. She was such a pleasure to be with, always with the most positive outlook on life no matter the circumstances. We were always amazed and impressed at her ability to refuse to play the straight man to George’s endless jokes, invariably coming back with her own punch lines or response to his jokes with her own imitable sense of humour. She was so clearly a perfect soul mate for George, and while we will miss her ourselves we cannot imagine how much she will be missed by the family. She will live on for the rest of our lives in the fondest memories of those who knew and cared for her.
