Jill spent many a Friday or Saturday night at my Karaoke. She enjoyed singing and had such an infectious laugh and smile. She spoke to me often of her troubles. At the end of the night, we’d hug. I had hoped that I had given her some encouraging words and looked forward to her next visit. The stars just won’t be as shiny for awhile.

She will be sadly missed.

I only met Jill a few times while visiting her sister. Full of smiles and laughter. I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.

I am a friend of Gillian’s from AA. You are so right when you say, “Her bubbly spirit and infectious laugh will be remembered by all with whom she came in contact”. One night we were out singing karaoke together with a group of people who all adored her. She was so full of life and we all had a blast just being in her presence! We already miss her so much.
