Condolences
Dear Nell, Vicky and Jinny:
We were indeed saddened by the passing of José. He was a great teacher, clinician, mentor, colleague and friend. I still remember the day he convinced me to start training in Pediatric Anesthesia at the Montreal Children’s Hospital forty years ago. He will be missed by all. Our sincerest condolences. Raafat and Isis Hannallah
I was so sorry to hear of Jose’s passing. Elliot was so very fond of him both as a person and mentor. Both of us enjoyed working with him at the Montreal Childrens. Both he and Nell were very kind to us when we got married. My sincere condolences to your family. Love Sue Rhine
Dear Tita Nell and family,
Our sincerest condolences for your loss. Our only wish is that this time of sadness brings you all even closer. May you have happy memories of all the times you had together.
I was glad I was able to chat briefly (even it is was by MSN) before he moved. I will miss him — Tio Pepito and Tita Nell were the only family I had here in Montreal…and I loved how his voice reminded me of my dad’s. I hope they are enjoying each other’s company in heaven!
You are in our thoughts and prayers,
Emily
Dear Family Rosales
You may not remember me, I grew up at 59 Banstead Rd in Montreal West and I remember your family well. We left in 1972, I cannot remember if you were still there. I loved my youth there and remember many of my neighbours.
I wish you comfort in your time of grief.
Christine Lengvari

Dear Nell-
I was saddened to hear about Jose’s passing. We first met in 1956 and it was easy to become friends with him. I had a great deal of respect for him on both a personal and professional level. I was happy to be able to be off some help to him–Best wishes–Dr.Bill Novick

My deepest condolences to my Aunt Nell and cousins, Jinny and Vicky.
I’m so glad that I had spent such precious and valuable time with him. My father would have been so happy to know our time spent together. It took so long to finally meet my Uncle Pepito; I wish I still had more time with him.
He will be greatly missed.
Julian
