Condolences
It was with great sadness that I heard of Dave’s passing. I worked in Central Stores while he was the “head honcho” in Purchasing. I greatly admired him and the work that he did, as well a his friendly and outgoing personality. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
Deepest sympathies for your loss Val, Tony, Shane, Melanie and Max

We are so blessed to have had Dave in our lives. Never will we find a neighbor as kind and open hearted. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. He will be missed.
Auntie Valeta, Tony, Shane, Melanie and Max – sending our love to you all. Uncle Dave will always hold a special place in my heart – family and friends are everything. Two angel cards fell out of my deck after his passing – guardian angel and new beginnings. I know that he is watching over us all. Love, Carolyn, Dan, Ben and Holly.
We are thankful for the laughs and tears we shared over the fence with “Uncle” Dave….those memories will last forever for us and our boys. Our sincerest thank you to Dave for sharing his love and our deepest sympathies to Val, Tony, Shane, Melanie, and Max for your loss.
Dave was one of the first people I met at the U of C in 1966. He became my mentor, teacher, best friend and car pool buddy (for 17 years of the 24 we worked together). Dave was a builder of the University of Calgary and what it is and stands for today. He loved his family; his passing is a tremendous loss to Val, Tony, Shane his wife Melanie their son Maxwell (grampa’s always give lots of hugs). My sincere sympathy at this time.
Sleep well my friend the journey is complete! Smooth seas & following winds.
Al

Our family has a big hole in it now. Although we saw each other far too infrequently, Dave always made everyone laugh and the time between visits seemed to melt away. He was a very special man and will be missed by all who knew him, family and friends alike. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his family.
Love Glynis and Ed
Our prayer’s and deepest sympathies to the Joyce family. Dave is in a better place. He has been a special friend and we will miss him.
Note to Max. You were a great joy to Gramp’s so please remember the good times and special memories as you were greatly treasured by him. Our friendship with your whole family and the good times we have had over the years mean a great deal to our family.
Thinking of you all.
Love, Maxine and Reg
