Obituary of David Dave George JOYCE

April 28, 1935 – August 5, 2011 With great sadness we announce the passing of David “Dave” George Joyce beloved husband of Valeta of Calgary, on Friday, August 5, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Together with his wife of forty-seven years Valeta, his brother Keith (Louise), his sons Tony and Shane (Melanie) and his grandson Maxwell, we celebrate his love and dedication to his family. We honour his commitment to his values through his service in the Canadian Navy, his career with the University of Calgary, his volunteer time and his love and celebration of his Newfoundland roots. Dave’s love showed everyone who was fortunate to know him that giving to others was the ultimate gift to give and receive.
