Obituary of SHERRINGTON – Eva Margareta

March 7, 1937–August 1, 2011 Eva Sherrington, of Calgary, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2011 at the age of 74 years. Eva was born and raised in Meeting Creek, AB and moved with her family to Camrose when she was 13. She met Ian in Camrose and they were married in 1957. They moved to Edmonton and eventually settled in Calgary where she pursued her career with the Royal Bank. Eva was a long time member of the Silver Springs Golf and Country Club, leading the family tally with four holes in one. She was also a member of the Calgary Winter Club. Eva lived life to the fullest and enjoyed travelling, golfing and curling. Eva is survived by four children, Neal (Natalie), Allan (Val), Sheilah (Joe) and Ian Jr. (Teri), three grandchildren, Kimberly, Ryan and Vanessa (Jesse), two sisters Doris Borgstrom and Evelyn Anderson as well as her beloved partner Bernie Wylie. Eva will also be remembered by her numerous close friends and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband J.B. Ian Sherrington. At Eva’s request, there will not be a formal funeral service, but a Celebration of Eva’s Life will be announced on a later date. You may forward condolences through .
