I was deeply saddened hearing about Barry’s illness and passing. My condolences to Ella and family. Barry was a great pilot and asset to the Cu-Nim Gliding Club. He was always upbeat and happy to give a hand. He will be dearly missed by all.

My sincerest condolences on the passing of Uncle Barry. I can only imagine how you must be reeling from the recent diagnosis and sudden passing of Barry. He was a great man with a fantastic dry sense of humour. Everytime he would look at you with that sheepish grin you would be wondering what he was going to say, but you always knew it was going to be good! He will be greatly missed!

There are so many wonderful memories built among the incredible kindness, support and friendship that our family was always blessed with from the whole Bradley family.

Family camping trips, canoeing, the gliding club, or just growing up on Benson and Brockington Roads, no matter the situation, Barry was a calm, kind and caring mentor gifted with a razor sharp, analytical mind. His many long friendships speak so clearly of his wonderful character. I wish it was possible to be there in person to thank you all in person for sharing Barry’s very full life with all of us.

Having known Barry since the 1980s at Cu Nim, we wish to extend our deepest condolences to the family.

Barry was always happy and helpful to fledgling towpilots, and contributed greatly to the Cu Nim club throughout the years. You were all like ‘Family’ to other members with your warmth and friendliness.

Ella, I was so sorry to learn of Barry’s passing and share in your sense of loss. I lost my soul mate on the 25th of July. Before Janet passed away she told me to keep my family close to me. I hope you will also find comfort in your family as well.

As we will be unable to attend the service, Catherine and I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to Ella and the family. Barry was a mainstay of CuNim and an excellent towpilot. Whether in its day to day operation, or at cross-country weeks or instructor courses, Barry could always be counted on to quietly and competently provide the towing.

I was very sorry to learn of Barry’s illness and subsequent passing. As a new student with Cu-Nim, Barry was very patient with me as I learned the skill of aerotowing. He was always ready with a word of advice and encouragement. His standards of his craft were exceptional and he did not hesitate to extol that in others. I will miss Barry with his kind smile and sparkle in his eyes. He loved to fly, his passion was evident.
