Obituary of BONNEAU – Chris
May 13, 1966–July 20, 2011
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher (Chris) Charles Bonneau on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at the young age of 45 years. Chris was born in Calgary on May 13, 1966. He will be dearly missed by his loving and devoted wife Anne, and their amazing children CJ (Christopher Junior) age 8, Brooklyn (Anne) age 7 and his faithful companion Flic (his beloved Jack Russell Terrier). He is survived by his mother Donna and father Merv and predeceased by his brother Shawn (Rob). From an early age, Chris developed a passion for motocross and raced professionally for many years. This passion developed into a career when in 2001 Chris purchased Pro-Action Suspension and actually started getting paid for helping people out. He made sure to find a girl who liked bikes and married Anne November 15, 2001; this year would have been their 10 year anniversary. They then had two kids who both raced as well. Chris built a wonderful life for his family, camping and biking meanwhile always lending a helping hand to anyone and everyone. The biking community will never be the same without him. Chris fought a heroic battle against cancer for the last seven years and never entertained the thought of losing. He is admired and respected by all that knew him.
A Memorial Service will be held for Chris at the Wildrose Motocross Park (58th Avenue & Burbank Rd S.E.) (please wear yellow) on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his children’s future; Anne Bonneau, in trust for CJ and Brooklyn Bonneau. Forward condolences through .
