Condolences
I also grew up with Cam at Rosedale Junior High. I remember him as a really nice guy. He was always smiling and I don’t remember him saying a single nasty thing about anyone. He was also the most talented athlete I knew. I’ve often wondered what that would have been like. Cam was a great guy. Every kid liked him. I am sorry to hear of his passing. He will obviously be greatly missed. My condolences to the whole family. Especially to you Kelli. I know he was a good brother.
Our deepest sympathy – our thoughts are with your family and we pray for strength for you all in this difficult time.
Brett and Sean, we hope the memories of your dad stay vivid in your hearts.

We live this with you. Our Hearts are bonded with yours in this time of sorrow.
To all of the family members of my Dear friend Cam. I just found out this morning of his sudden death and I am still in shock and dismay. Sean and Brett you know that you both were the love of your fathers life. He loved you so much and I was part of that love and witness for a while and I will always remember you two wonderful kids. Cam never stopped talking about his boys. Make him proud and know that he is with you in spirit and never lose the love or the memories you shared with him. He really was a one of a kind guy and I am truly going to miss Cammy. My hugs and prayers are with you Sean and Brett. Laurie
It was with great sadness that I heard of Cam’s passing. He was a very good friend to me for many years and I have some wonderful memories which have come flooding back this past week. Although I couldn’t attend his service in person today, my thoughts are with his family and friends on this sad occasion. I will always remember him, and I’m grateful for having known him and for the time we spent together.

I remember Cam fondly from CHHS – while I was a typical ‘drama geek’ – Cam defined the word ‘jock’ as someone who was kind and sincere.
As competitive as Cam was on the court/field, and aware of the strengths and weaknesses of his team-mates and opponents there, he was not only equally sensitive to the strengths and weaknesses of his friends and fellow students off the field, but respectful of everyone he encountered – a true gentleman and role model.
My most sincere condolences to his sons, father, family and everyone who will miss him.
Charles Porlier (& family)

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Cam. I met him through the Hesson Family many years ago. Each time we saw Cam it was like we had seen each other the day before. He really did have a big personality!
My thoughts and prayers are with the boys and Cam’s family at this very sad time.

Kelli and family,
This was a beautiful obituary. Cam would have been proud to have had all these things said about him. He was definalty charismatic and charming and had a very wonderful and warm heart – that was Cam. He will be missed by so many. Remember the good times and the laughs, he would want that.
Love

Cam and I were buddies in Rosedale Junior High and became best friends in High School at Crescent before parting down different life paths.
Cam had an energy and zest for life that was very infectious.
My sincere condolences to Kelly and the rest the family.
To the Colvin family, my sincere condolences. Kelli, I am saddened to hear of Cam’s passing. I have such great memories of Cam, truly a fine young man back at CHHS. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I’m so sorry to hear about Cam’s passing. As one of Kelli’s school friends, I’ll always remember Cam’s dramatic change from a tall awkward teenager who grew into a handsome, confident, playful person who always seemed to have a kind word and a smile on his face. So very sorry for your loss.
Brett and Seany
We are so sorry for your loss and our thoughts and hearts are with you at this time. Your Dad was soooo very proud of you, in all that you do.
We have so many good memories of all of our travels together, the laughs, the banter and a road trip was always an adventure with your Dad.
Cammyo, we will miss you, your booming voice, your presense and the great debates. (I’ll try to keep up on current events)
With great memories,
Shauna, Nigel and Darion
Dear Colvin Family,

Our Warmest and Dearest thoughts are with you all Karonne, Steffany & Mike,
Darren & Leighann.
No one could ever forget Cam’s laugh, everyone knew when he was happy, he was very proud of his boys and except for his knees he would still be playing, he will be missed by many.
Lorne, my husband and I would like to say how deeply sorry we are to Brett and Seaney.. Lorne and I spoke with Cam almost every day and he will be dearly missed. In my married life with Lorne this past 15 years, Cam has been our stock broker but so much more- a real friend and confidant. Our kids are the same age and as mentioned those boys were his life. I remember going to soccer games when the boys were little. We had many good times and he truely was the life of the party- as he would often say where fitting “they would love my ACT” and we all did. He was truly one of a kind and I loved him. It actually goes back further for me, he grew up with my family, my Mother and Father. He was best friends with my Uncle – Ed Robinson all through his school years. My Uncle and him would often go to my Grandparents house for lunch and he always loved a good steak. Vanda was also very close with Ed and she is also sadly missed. It is a sudden and sad lost and my heart goes out to his boys who were his life. I will never forget and he will always hold a special place in my heart. If there is anything I can do for Brett or Sean I am here. I too lost my mother at a very young age and it is very difficult. Again, I am here if you need me. Love forever and always—Lisa and Lorne Gilbert.
