Obituary of COLVIN – Camron Grey

October 25, 1959 – July 15, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Camron Grey Colvin on Friday, July 15, 2011 at the age of 51 years. Cam was a fun loving, athletic man who grew up in Calgary playing baseball and basketball. He was competitive, on and off the field, and loved watching football, playing board games, and especially watching his boys’ soccer games on the weekends. He was charismatic, charming and incredibly personable… the life of the party. Cam was a loyal friend and trusted financial advisor, working as a stockbroker for over twenty years at Yorkton and Leede Financial. He was bright and tenacious, and putting deals together was his forte. Above all though, Cam was a devoted father and his sons meant the world to him. Whether it was long road trips to Kelowna to visit friends or time spent teaching the boys sports in the park, Cam brightened their world in so many ways. He was supportive of their athletic and academic ambitions and, as everyone knows, was so proud of his boys. Cam will be deeply missed by his two sons Brett and Sean; dad Bradley Colvin; sister Kelli Wilson (Fred); and nephews, Denver (Jannalee), Spencer, Trevor and Matt; and by his many, many friends. Cam was predeceased by his mom Val and his beloved sister Vanda. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
